To hear Team Romney tell it, Ann Rosen's comments thet Anne Romney never worked a day in her life is tawdry at best, and insulting at worse.
After all, they said ,she takes care of the kids.
Ah, but it's no true, not according to the comment Mitt Romney made back in New Hampshire according to the Boston Globe who recoreded Romney telling a group of poor stay at home moms in Manchester New Hampshire on Jan 4 2012
"Even if you have a child of two years of age,you have to go to work. And people will say that's heartless;
and I wil lsay""No,no I'm willing to spend the money giving daycare to allow these parents to get back to work.
It'll cost the state more to provide day care,but I want individuals to have the dignity of work"
There we HAVE IT-DIGNITY COMES ONLY IF SOMEONE ELSE PAYS
Let's take that one step further-as governor, Romney vetoes bills to allow unization of child care providers, and most repblican governors are following suit, So not only to they devalue the 'DIGNITY OF LABOR" THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR IT.
Why shouldn't Ann Romney have the "dignity of Labor" That her husband wants to impose on everyone else?
